HUNTING INFORMATION
Uitkyk provides the hunter an opportunity to hunt a selection of 17 different indigenous and exotic game species on the farm itself with further species available on concession areas in the Kimberley and surrounding areas, ensuring a varied and eventful hunting experience.
All hunters are accompanied by a qualified professional hunter and trained tracker ensuring a professional and ethical hunt. With bow hunting blinds strategically placed over waterholes, success is ensured to even the inexperienced bow hunter. We can also offer big game hunting on request. A typical hunting day starts early, depending on your needs, either a light breakfast or full English breakfast will be served after which you head out to start the safari. Lunch will either be served back at the camp or a packed picnic will be sent along. Clients then return late afternoon for a fresh up followed by dinner. Each day however is tailor-made to each guests’ needs. The field preparation and care of your trophies is our top priority. Your trophies can either be shipped raw and mounted by your local taxidermist or mounted in South Africa. Vehicles and equipment are well maintained to make sure your safari runs smoothly and to provide you with the highest level of comfort. If you do not wish to travel with a firearm, rifles can be rented on site.
